Type II water spot removal question about "spotless"

I have a customer whos car im doing Thursday. Its a 2002 dark blue saab. Ive removed water spots before but his sound pretty bad. Would CarPro spotless be sufficient? Ive never used it before so im curious.

    Hi
if i will say to you yes it will, would you believe me? :-))

the best is to buy and test, its pretty cheap and effective without abrasives, no polishing required

How does the spotless work exactly? Is it like a paint safe acid that dissolves the mineral deposit? Or is it a type of oil that blends it in with the paint?

I picked up a bottle of Spotless a few weeks back. It's great stuff, works well, inexpensive, and yes it is an acid. After applying Spotless you have to follow-up with plenty of water to wash off any remaining acid. IMHO, you may be able to lessen Type II water spots but you aren't going to completely remove an etching from the clear coat.
