armored car weld dust.. how to remove

Hi, I have a potential client that makes armored cars. I went to take a look and they have light dust which he says is from the welding. It looks like dust and some of it looks a bit sticky. I can wipe it off with my finger if I wanted to be aggressive but wanted to see what was the best method.

My question is; he says they use a polymer based solvent, let it dwell and then wipe clean but usually do not use it on the paint in case it does not penetrate enough in turn leaving scratches.

I have Sonax, APC, Irox X etc.

I also just got a foam gun which I was thinking maybe I could mix some APC into it when I presoak to loosen everything up.

What would be the best approach to this situation.

I also came across this:

diluted of course but not sure if that would be just the same as the Megs APC+

If it was from welding I would use Iron-X then foam it with the Snow foam, or even look into Finish Kare's paint decon system. If the warm embers got on the paint that could be bad. Then follow with a clay(or clay altenative). The by product of welding is nasty stuff. I am surprised the have the vehicles near that stuff.

•Metal fume, (a by-product of welding), is nasty stuff.

•It's difficult to weld armor to a vehicle---in order for it to become an actual armored vehicle---without the vehicle being pretty close to metal fume though.
