How long can you let MF rags sit in a pre-mixed bucket of rinseless water?

How long can you let MF rags sit in a pre-mixed bucket of rinseless water, before it goes bad? Also is it ok to pre-mix the rinseless wash for clay bar lube and put in bottles for long term use?

For example if you are letting the folded rags sit in the bucket for the week (already pre mixed with water. So all you have to do in the morning is grab the buckets and head out the door.

I can't comment on on the MF in bucket part but I have put mixed ONR in a sprayer and left it there for months and used it for lube and it worked perfectly.

I just used mine from last fall with no issues.

I have a gamma lid on the bucket and it worked great.

Microfiber towels are made with synthetic materials... I doubt they would go bad even if you left them in it for a very long time.

Do a test, put one in a bucket and check once a week. If it goes bad it will have costed you 1 microfiber towel to find out. Heck put a cheap one from Walmart, that's a great 50 cents investment to try it out.

Longest I have gone was about a month and found no issues.
ONR at QD dilution has been sitting in my garage for about a year now. No issues here either.

Re: How long can you let MF rags sit in a pre-mixed bucket of rinseless water?

Probably okay but would recommend at least 2 things:

    1) Use a bucket with a gamma seal lid so no (or very little) air gets in.
    2) Keep in the house where there is less temperature/humidity variation.

As far as leaving in a sprayer...never had any problems there. All my mixtures have been sitting in the closet for 6 months through winter. I do go in there and shake everything at least once a month. If you don't use distilled or filtered water, that could potentially cause problems with the excess minerals in tap water.

If they are "rags"...why worry so much about them?
