    Serious carpet stains ?

This is a 07 Yukon "kid hauler" .
I've tried Folex, APC, ZEP spot remover and even Simple Green.
Also I tried a VX steamer and hot water extraction.
The owner said that someone with the Steam Brite company (truck mount carpet cleaning system) tried to clean the carpet some time ago.
I think the stains are set like a dye and maybe nothing will help?
I will have the Yukon for another day so if anyone has any ideals I'll try anything that might help.
The owner understands it may not be possible to remove the stains but I would be her hero if I could.

If you've tried everything and it won't help, a carpet dye is probably the only option.

Thats a good ideal, I've never done the dyeing process though.

Do u know what the make up of the stain is? If you were able to determine this, ie - protein based, dye, red mud etc then you could possibly get a specific spotter that would work on a specific stain.
You've all the basics in the play book. At this point I may start experimenting with some rarely used combinations. I would try 20 mule team Borax. It's available at Walmart. I have used it on mold on fabric at a dilution of 1 cup of Borax to 1 gallon of hot water. I sprayed it on, worked it in, let it dry and then removed the residue with a damp mf. It is safe on carpets, fabrics etc. You can Google it to look at different dilution ratios and uses. Good luck.

Once it was hot water extracted and it did not come out the stain became permanent. Dye is your friend now

A-T,, I was told the stains were every type of soft drinks you can imagine including milkshakes tea and juice, on top of candy and food stuff.

I'm afraid rolop6 & Eandras may be right , I've already spent to much time on it, sounds like dye may be the only choice now?

If I have time I may try a couple other things, cant hurt it at this point

    Thanks Guyz!

It may very well be permanent, however just because a stain get hot water extraction does not make it permanent. I spent some time with a carpet pro in my area and learned a ton from him. He would get called out to fix Stanley Steamer jobs that were improperly done. Amazing the turn around he got on previously extracted carpets. If you were going to have the vehicle longer I would send you some samples from my spotting kit to try.

    Re: Serious carpet stains ?

Since the stains were hit with steam I believe they are set now. There are stain removers like "red 1" but they will not work if the stains are set.

I just picked up Red 1. Have not tried it yet. Good stuff?
