    Hardened gorilla glue

Have a client which decided to try a DIY replacing his Mercedes emblems and managed to get gorilla glue all over the place and has been cured for about 72 hours now. What is the best plan of attack to remove this Thanks

I think you'll most likely cause more damage trying to remove it. If it were me I wouldn't take the job on. Gorilla glue is crazy strong, even semi permanent

Definitely dont want to do more damage I was able to level it down a bit but seems almost like it etched the paint my next step was to wet sand a bit to see if I can't smooth it out a little more

I would try to contact the manufacturer of the glue and see if there is something that they recommend to help remove it safely.

Hate to pass up a challenge but I guess in this case better play it safe than pay$$ by being sorry

Sometimes stupid is expensive, other times painful, the customer is most likely facing a complete stripping and repaint.

    C4 will remove the emblems.

But not without damaging the paint. And the front end, the back end, the garage, and all the cars parked on the street.

I would suggest that you have the customer contact Gorilla when they open tomorrow.

Is be worried that trying to remove the glue would also remove some clear or paint.
