Just to clarify, when you say Scotchbrite Pad, you are meaning the 'white' one...correct?
Bill
Doesn't matter which one because what I said was...
without melting your car's paint or scouring it from having to rub on it with a Scotchbrite pad
I"ve never used a Scotchbrite pad on a car except before it went into a paint booth for new paint.

Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of this product but this is why I like discussion forums, it's where all the newest news continually breaks!
Let's hope the need for these types of products is far and few between...

My apologies, I did NOT see the word, "without."
Thank you...

I have had success with Nail polish remover. The one with acetate. Go lightly then polish. Do not wait to long.

I've used gasoline before and it worked. The only reason i used it was because my ex boss was going off because i couldnt remove it. I'm not sure how safe it is, but it worked. I had to polish the area after and it looked great. I just don't know what the long term effects are.

i got this on my wifes new black suv. finally used spray on rubbercoating from Napa Auto Parts for the inside wheel wells. easier to use and worked great. used a damn plastic razor blade on lots of the other stuff.

I have had success with acetone. I would suggest being very careful not to get it on mouldings on the vehicle, just the paint ,then polish /wax when done. I would approach the job as Mike suggested with the Stoners product except use the Acetone , dampen a rag with Acetone and hold it against the road paint until it softens , then wipe off .

Re: *Yellow street paint on my car, No Idea how to take it off*
Thanks for all the info guys, I swear I just got this car a couple of months ago and it used to belong to my brother but he sold it to me for a really good price and I love this car. I take better care of it then myself sometimes lol... But when I saw the paint on my fenders and paint it was days after I drove over the street paint so it dried up before I saw it, I tried turtle wash and wax soap it didnt do anything, I tried mothers clay bar and it didnt work and the pressure washer didnt work either, so I'm going to try the stoner xenit if I can find it today, I live in Montreal so fingers crossed.
