How to fix a VERY DEEP scratch!!!

    Hi Mike,

I have learned a lot from watching your videos and reading your messages.

But I can't seem to fix this scratch this guy put in the back of my jeep.

Could you look at the picture and give me an idea as if this is fixable.

    Thank You,
    Scott

I would suggest sand with 600-3,000, than hit it with a wool pad/rotary with some m105/205. Should look brand new!

That was the problem in the first place , he had way to much beer already.

This happened 41/2 years ago. Wasn't very funny at the time but now I can share the pictures without getting angry.

That wasn't exactly my first thought or word, when I walked outside.

Cars can be replaced, not people. If you were in it at the time, glad you're OK.

EXACTLY!!!! No it was parked in my driveway 1:30am.Nobody was really hurt amazingly. Even the drunk driver. At first that's all I was concerned about then I started dealing with the ins co. And that's when the angry part kicked in. All ended well and we have a new jeep now after a almost 3 yr battle.

My daily driver was rear-ended almost 3 years ago when I was hit by a Ford F150 that was driving around 50 to 60 miles per hour, maybe faster. I heard his tires screeching for a long time and actually took pictures of the skid marks.

This is looking from the point of view of the guy that hit me. I was at a dead stop with oncomoing traffic.

I was pretty angry at the time but most of all glad that I no one was hurt. The good news is I'm building a new truck to take the place of my current truck and it's coming along really nice.

It's going to have either 10" or 12" I-beam bumpers front and rear welded and bolted to the frame. If I'm ever hit a again I ain't getting hurt and I my truck's not getting bent. This is my last vehicle in this lifetime...

If you've ever seen pictures of my Jimmy without doors and wondered why... well that's why...
