Dr ColorChip paint chip repair kit

Has anyone used the Dr ColorChip repair kit? Any success or is it not worth the money/effort? Sure looks easy in their video, however, I am guessing that the old standard applies - if it looks to good to be true it probably is. Would be nice if it actually worked as well as it appears.
If this does not work are there any other alternatives other that getting your hood/fenders repainted.
    Thanks for the input.

I had it for my old FX35 and loved it. It is a good system.

I've used it on my TL, great kit but if you buff it, over time the paint will come out. I would buy it again.

The video makes it look much easier to use than it actually is; maybe if you use the kit a lot you get more adept.

From what I'm hearing it does not really fill the chip completely (unless they are very small), is harder to use, and doesn't work as well as the video shows - I am not surprised, however, I will probably give it a try as I have a lot of small chips on my lower front sections, so if is not perfect no one will know but me - thanks for all the input/videos.

Re: Dr ColorChip paint chip repair kit

I used it on a pitted front end on a Honda and here are my two cents
Did it match the OEM metallic blue-YES
Did it go on as easy as the videos - YES
Did it come off as easy as the videos show -YES
Did it completely level the pits to the surface - NO
Did it fill the pits - YES
Where they less obvious at 3ft? - slightly noticeable
    5ft - couldn't tell
1ft - clear as day - looked like acne
Would I buy again - only if the client understands it's merely a filler and not to expect it looking/ feeling completely level up the original paint nor fill any chips - it takes your rashed up front bumper with all the white exposed nicks and takes them from white nicks to the OEM colored nicks - does nothing to make the bumper feel smooth as glass

True, from a few feet out you pretty much can't tell. It's not made for large chips. Overall I was very happy with the results.
