I have 2007 550i BMW and I have some light swirls and holgrams in the paint. The color is sapphire black. What steps would you recommend to correct the paint on my vehicle. Thanks
Saw you tagged your question onto an article so I moved it off the article into your very own "thread"!
This way you'll get more information about your topic versus the topic of the thread you tagged onto, this is a better approach for interacting on discussion forums.
Also, here's a recent thread where you might pick up some ideas...

Do you have any products or tools at your disposal?
I guess it depends on how fast you want to do it. The more aggresive the polish, the quicker it cuts. Also the more paint you grind off, perhaps, more than you needed to. Since I do this for mental health and not to pay bills, I tend to go a little slower and take more time with finer grit. The article about the black 550 Mike sent you is money. You will learn how to do the correction step by step and you'll learn not to let your neighbor near the buffer.
Get a couple hundred together and get ready to have some fun! Getting your car "just right" is very rewarding. Nothing looks better than a well polished black car. Nothing lasts less time either. Wash it properly and often to keep from having to polish often and save the clear coat for years to come.
Spend your time (and money) on the stuff that prepares the paint for wax. In my opinion, prep makes the job, not $1000 wax.
