Little rust spot on corner of hood
Guys, a friend of mine asked me this question so I thought I'd post it to the board. Sorry, I don't have any pictures. Anyhow, he has an Acura MDX SUV and he told me that the corner of his hood has a little rust spot that he described as being no bigger than 1/8"-1/4" in diameter. My understanding is that this is definitely not big enough to warrant a repaint. I suggested that if he could just sand off the rust that he could then just use something like Dr. Colorchip to cover it up (after the rust was removed). Was that a good suggestion or is there something better? Would he just use regular sandpaper to remove the rust and just sand carefully or does anyone make a product specifically for sanding rust off of such a small area? Thanks.

Yeah, I couldn't remember, but I thought there may be something like a sanding pen out there for an application like this.
