    After the IPA Wipedown........

For those of you that do an IPA wipedown to strip old wax/sealant before putting on a new coat, do you QD the car after the IPA but before sealant application or do you go straight to sealant after the IPA? Also, how long should you wait to apply the sealant after the IPA or does that not even matter?

IPA wipedown, then directly to LSP. IPA evaporates QUICKLY!

What if the IPA streaks on the car.........will the sealant clean that up? Do you QD or waterless wash it?

You could reapply IPA and wipe to streak free. Don't rely on the application of LSP to "clean up" any streaks or imperfections.

I was thinking of following the IPA wipedown with DP Waterless Wash. Since it contains no gloss enhancing agents I'm assuming this would be fine to do by not affecting the sealant's ability to bond to the paint or having only a minimal effect.

It won't have any effect and the paint will be clean.

I was worried that the waterless washes would leave a slight film of some kind of diluted QD on the paint (assuming that's what makes the dirt/water roll off) and that this would interfere with the bonding if you use a sealant type wax. I don't know if it would but I could see how it might.

I have the DP multi use product that's a waterless wash, clay lube and QD all in one depending on how strong you mix it, so I assume they all use this same technology of a diluted QD.

Just do an IPA wipe down and apply your LSP. Don't make it more complicated than it really is.
