I need to figure out how to post a pic. Anyway, car is silver with black leather interior. I got a little pic that was the size for an avatar only.

After you've read through a bunch of threads on here over the next 3-4 weeks, you'll gain a lot of knowledge
Just about any car wash soap/shampoo will suffice.

I started reading three days ago. Joined yesterday and today got the right to post. Yup, alot of info to try and take in. I was trying to cheat, and have the experts here just give me all the magic bullets to buy. Use my coupon and have at it by the weekend.
Specific products will help me a ton. Not trying to be lazy...just trying to buy the best I can right up front!

I recommend the Optimum line. Their car wash, Instant Detailer. Power Clean, car wax and POly-Seal are great and easy. Opti-Bond is a fine tire dressing and Protection Plus is for interior use. Learn from the How To sections on this forum before doing much of anything. Buy some micro fibers espescially Buy One Get One (BOGO) Buy a high quality mit too.

Great car. There is a lot to digest here, so go slowly. Great tips and detailing hints. There's a lot more to keepin her pretty than just soaps and wax's but that is a good start.
Oh, and by the way, welcome to the new addiction

The 303 is for any vinyl or rubber. The 1Z is really for the interior.
I placed the items in bold that I have actually used and loved. The rest I have read lots of good about and plan to try them at some point.
I threw the following chart together pretty quick from info in my own personal chart so hopefully it all came out right. See below

You just really can't go wrong with Meguiars Gold Class car wash
As far as polishing/buffing goes, your paint may be in great shape as it is already. In that case, you could just buy a cleaner/wax type product, and kill two birds with one stone. If the paint was in less than ideal condition, then would you consider obtaining some polishing/rubbing products.

A price range could help everyone too...
And if you can get a pic of your car in the direct sun hilighting the paint condition (swirls, scratches, etc) that would help everyone too!
p.s. sweet ride! Wanna trade??? I have one sexy 04 handa accord haha

Re: help me keep her pretty
The cars paint is perfect . So far I have 8oo miles on the car. Price is not the main sticking point. The best products will be the main point for the car products. I also want to "do the right thing".
So far I got wash car weekly with optimum car wash.
what else do I do weekly, monthly yearly.
cee dog...thanks for the "dummys list" it's very helpful to me
