advice on buffing
It's 1 week since base/clear, now I have wet sanded with 1500 to remove nibs and orange peel, then 2000.
Next I wet sanded with a RO sander w/ 3000 pads.
The finish is kind of dull with a white haze now, but smooth. It was glassy before sanding but there was that peel.
Next up - need help on how to buff with a 6" Dual Action Random Orbital.
What is a good compound and color/foam pad to use after 3000 grit, and is it a two compound process or just one?
the compounds I have on hand are : Meguiars ultimate, and meguiar#7 show car glaze,
and 3M rubbing compound 05973 A and metal finishing polish B.
thanks!

Re: advice on buffing
Meg's ultimate and wool pads cranked all the way up to 6. Then an orange Lake Country med cut pad to smooth it out.
Depending on what you see after that, a fine cut polish and pad to refine the finish.
Or maybe not...depends on if your happy with the finish.
