How to remove adhesive from paint
Rain shields were added to my truck. Adhesive partially failed and now half the adhesive is still there and needs to be removed. Whats the best way to get that nasty stuff off?

3M makes an adhesive remover or try a small area with lacquer thinner.

3M Strip off wheel (attaches to your drill) works great on that kind of thing. At least the thicker parts.
Then you only use a little adhesive remover on the tiny bits left behind.
I find this process is a lot faster then just using adhesive remover to dissolve it all.

Yeah, 3M Adhesive Remover or probably any Goo-Gone or Goof-Off type product that is made from citrus oil.
Here's your picture,
Sorry for the late reply, I've been offline working and traveling and then I took a day off to recharge the batteries.
