    303 graphene longevity issue

I used this on a black Toyota Tundra. Did a couple panels at a time to not let it dry too long but did wait for it to haze over. First time it rained the beading and water shedding was incredible and I had high hopes. Next time it rained there was no beading on the hood. I washed, clayed and polished out some scratches. Then I used Klasse AIO to clean the rest of the paint. Did I screw up putting the graphene over acrylic? I think 303 said you could put it over other products. Never had an issue with Wolfgang sealant adhering to the Klasse. Trucks paint looked great but way too much work for one week of results.

I put on the 3O3 first, and I’m going on 5 months and it’s still glosses and beads perfectly. I followed up with car Pro elixir as a topper just recently, very happy with the results so far. Garage kept.

I wondered if the fact it had some dust on it from where I park at work made a difference. After washing it the beading was restored to the hood and roof. It rained last night so I thought any dust would be rinsed away but apparently not. With Wolfgang sealant it used to look like it was just washed after a rain and always beaded water. Since the graphene doesn’t feel slick like a wax or polymer I’m guessing the rain didn’t take the dirt off so the water wasn’t actually sitting on the sealant but rather the dirt. That’s good because this stuff makes my black paint look really good. Just a bit of a drawback for graphene but I’m going to top it with something anyway. Thanks

303 Graphene Coating doesn’t last. People who are saying it does probably don’t drive their car and leave it in a garage all the time.

Thought it was worth a try. I usually use WDGPS with good results.

Sounds like your happy with Wolfgang, so why not continue using it?

I just ordered some Wolfgang iso2 spray sealant to top the graphene. I just wanted to see if the durability of the graphene would live up to the claims.

    Just started using this....

Says one should get 12 months out of one application. 18 months with proper care.

I used some on a new wheel. I wasn't impressed with the beading when I squirted it with a hose. After a quick wash, the wheel beaded up nicely. Time will tell how long it lasts.

303 Graphene did not impress me at all. Wipe off was messy, gloss and hydrophobicity were average at best. It has been relegated to the 'one and done' shelf
