    Waterless Wash how many towels

    Hi
How many microfiber towels are ideal for a waterless wash for a large car?

    Thanks in advance

One simple search, and i found your answer, mike phillips already covered this subject in a waterless wash cobra towel review.

How many towels do I need?

Figure a minimum of one towel per body panel and two tales for larger panels like a large hood or roof.

12-14 + 1 extra in case one drops on the ground.

Do a rinseless instead, you can do it with five towels, And have a much less chance to scratch your car. Search YouTube for the “Gary Dean method.”

Depends how dirty the car is... I regularly do my entire truck with one or two.

But then again, my truck never gets very dirty and if it does I'll do a conventional wash.

Same here. The only time I'll do a WW is strictly for light dust.

2 cleaning towels, and a final buff towel. (Cobra Chinchilla).

Only waterless like others for light dust. I do alot of rinseless’ and use and use about 8-12. One swipe per side.

One for me. I'm only removing dust on a Corvette I can refold a 16" towel to expose 8 surfaces. I have 8 surfaces I wash.

The other determinant factor is how you use the towels. I have 16" x 16" towels I fold in half then half again which gives me effectively 8-towels. Doing this, I typically put 6-towels in my bucket if fairly dirty and 3- if lightly dirty. When very dirty, I first take the vehicles to a self-serv car wash and do a high pressure soap and rinse (never use the soap brush except on the running boards, wheel well and wheels). Then back at our 5th wheel I do the water less wash.
