Coating and the edges of panels

Just applied my first coating, CQuartz Lite. The biggest problem I’m having is creating high spots at the edge, especially lower, of panels. Is there any tips or a good technique to utilize to prevent this?

Get down on your hands and knees with good lighting.

I might need a crane to get me up if I do that lol. I can stand for short bits to do the upper but I’m chair bound most of the time.

Sorry to hear that..I apologize, was trying to be funny, I'm sorry that it didn't come off that way.

No issues. You weren’t to know and I wasn’t offended in the least.

Could you use something like this to help you access the lower panels/parts of the car ?

I have one of those from when I was still able to turn a wrench when a need be. I was thinking about that but not sure I could really extract myself from it these days - at least without the aforementioned crane.

Just use more towels. After initial removal use another side for the edges as well. Then do same with second buff towel.

Not changing towel out enough i think was my problem. When towel gets saturated it pushes coating around more than remove it.

Wipe larger than your application area. When it comes to edges try working from the edge to center for the first towel. Then wipe as I first mentioned.
