1968 MGB GT - All original single stage paint

1968 MGB GT - All original single stage paint

This car is as though it were stored in a Time Capsule.

I did a Test Spot on the hood.

Clay removed blackness. The section I clayed changed to a lighter, brighter yellow.

Test Spot removed 99.9% of the swirls and scratches - this was using the lowly PC.

    Stay tuned...

    Ah........ those late 60's colors.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

    And best of all....

No stupid pebble textured plastic trim to have to cover and protect.

Instead -classic cars like this have trim and molding made from,

    • Chrome
    • Stainless Steel
    • Aluminum
    • Nickel

And instead of covering it up ---- you run your buffing pad OVER IT and make is shiny!

Starting on the old MGB GT at 8:00am - Really looking forward to working on some REAL paint.

Plus - no stupid plastic trim.

    Stay tuned...

I haven't worked on an old original car in a long time. Sure would like to get my hands on one.
