Leaving microfiber towels to soak over weeks

So I have a ton of microfiber that I use for rinseless washing and drying.

I don’t want to do laundry every week so my question is, is it safe to leave microfiber towels soaking in a container for a course of weeks? I want to add detergent or apc so it breaks down the sealants and waxes

Don't leave it and not check regularly. The water can get real funky over time. Maybe put some Oxy in it. I know that helps grey water in an RV from stinking.

soak the towels the night (or about 24 hours) before washing them...

I will soak towels that have products which could cause them not to work well if left (spray coating or SiO2) for a day or so, then put it in bag with the other detailing laundry.
Before I start my quarterly detail towel laundry, I sort everything out by what was used on it (polish, wax/sealant, washing/glass, dirty MF, dirty terry), and soak everything for 12-24 hours. Good MF get MF cleaners, others soak in Megs degreaser. All MF is washed with MF cleaners, terry gets what every detergent is handy.

    If it were me?

I'd add a little Lysol to the water. Can't hurt anything.

Problem is - it's hard to find Lysol now days.
