Question Wait time after PPF application for Ceramic Coating?

I have searched high and low and have had a hard time finding any info about this, but how long are you supposed to wait after applying PPF to put on a ceramic coating? I put on one of my to sections of PPF yesterday and when I got "done" noticed some "bubbling" in areas that wouldn't move around when I squeegeed and tried to push them around with a microfiber. After a bit of freaking out, I stepped away, turned off the lights and went inside to see if it would clear up like some directions say it would. Go out this morning and to my surprise and relief, most of the air bubbles seemed to have worked their way out. A few more here and there that I'm hoping will fade, but this brings me to my question.

Do I need to wait to ceramic coat until all that had worked its way out of the film? I've never seen anyone talk about this, either detailing shops or on forums. I can only assume that applying the ceramic coat still allows the air to escape the film, but I'm honestly not sure. I didn't want to do anything for fear of "sealing" it into the PPF because the ceramic coating was over the top of it. I'm not clear that's what actually happens. Just trying to shed some light on the best way to do this. I'm in so rush, so can wait a few days (even weeks if I have to) to ensure I get the best finished product.

Thanks in advance, been detailing in my own garage for a while, but this was my first foray into ceramic coatings.

This is my first post here, so be gentle!

    Thanks,
    Andrew

I can only guess but based upon the process done at Chicago Auto Pros they would wait at least a day prior to doing the coating. It will depend upon the PPF recommendations by the manufacturer (Brand). As you found it worked out better to get the bubbles to move out before applying anything else.

As to a PPF specific coating, I really like the GTECHNIQ HALO over my PPF.

I've watched a lot of their videos, but didn't catch that if they made mention of it. I've not been able to find anyone that talks about it. Thanks for the recommendation too.

•I learned a long time ago to allow PPFs
    sufficient time to completely “dry-out”
(that is to say: allow the PPFs’ adhesives
enough time to totally cure) before applying
any type of an LSP on top of it.

    Note:
You don’t ever want to inadvertently
trap any PPF related moisture under
    a sealing product.

    •With that in mind:
-I wait between 30-45 days to apply
LSPs on top of new PPF installations.

    -Not to worry:
in the interim, the paint is
    duly protected.

FYI Gtechniq Halo is gas permeable just like their paint coatings. You would be fine using it right away. I did PPF on my handlamps and used cquartz skin right after installation. No issues doing that. PPF is still on the headlamps and so is Skin.
