This is great! Haha! Never would have guessed this, but I had a feeling it would’ve been something out of the ordinary.

    Just to note....

I felt guilty and a tick bad for posting the initial water beading picture and throwing everyone for a loop. But I also got a healthy laugh out of it as did most of you.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe that a super hydrophobic surface with super water beading does help to keep a car cleaner via the self-cleaning-effect when it rains hard, heck I even wrote an article about it here,

Mother Natures Car Wash and Ceramic Coatings

I'm also the guilty one that took all these super water beading pictures when I used and reviewed the BLACKFIRE Black Edition coating, you see the one picture in the banner graphic used here on the forum and the AG store page

Review & How-To: BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Paint Coating Black Edition

Everyone LOVES the Water Beading Pictures!

The next day I came into work and tested out the hydrophobicity.

Check out the surface tension this pro grade coating creates!

What do you think? Use this picture for Mouse Pad art?

Tight, tall and small, just how we like our water beading!

    And I coined the term,

    Tight, Tall & Small

To describe water beading probably 15 or 20 years ago. (it rhymes)

But I also tend to think the human fascination with water-beading is a tick over the top. Enough that I get a laugh out of it.

    Now back to water sheeting....

Oh wait - pictures of water sheeting are not interesting. :lauging: (think about it)

A great example of non-polar molecules (plastic) exhibiting hydrophobic properties ...

So how thin do you apply the cream cheese and how long before you remove it? Also, should you use a bagel to remove it instead of a microfiber?

I knew something was up with such a random post. Once graphene lust dies down.... were going to find ceramic sprays infused with molecular particles from cream cheese tubs. Cant wait!

In a couple of those pictures I almost thought you perfectly laid out a few hundred BB's or something on it. Did you just give it a quick spray with a hose?

Used an IK sprayer with normal tap water. Sprayed water UP into the air over the C8 Corvette so it could fall down on paint like rain. Kind of a technique.
