    Leather Dash

    Hey Mike!!
I just purchased a 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The car features a leather dash. At least areas of the dash are leather. I've never owned a car with a partial leather dash and door trim. What would you recommend I use on these areas to protect it from the sun, heat, cold, and just in general age? I have a 2001 C5 and use Leatherique. Which I have been very pleased with. However, in a tight area such as a the dash I'm not sure that is the best choice.

Maybe something from the Pinnacle line. I'd stay away from any greasy leather conditioner due to dust attraction.

If your pleased with Leatherique, why not continue using it? Other than using a spray product, which I would not recommend on a dash, I don't see the problem in applying Leatherique.

If you want to try something different, 303 would be my choice.

I've recently reviewed the Leatherique duo. This was the first time I used it.

My reviews are actually HOW-TO articles, so a little DEEPER than an endorsement telling everyone to "buy this". I'm actually not very good at reviews but I think I excel at how-tos.

I also recently how-to'd IGL LEATHER ECOSHINE and I though it worked well and was only one-step.

And for what it's worth, my wife Stacy is very picky about interior detailing. I share what she uses here,

Yes, I'm very picky about my interior being clean as well. LOL probably to picky. Although I like Leatherique and will continue to use it on the vette I want to stay away from it on my daily driver. I want something more simple and fast. After all I will need to treat the leather more frequently. Thank you for the IGL Coating recommendation.

How will IGL perform with with perforated seats. Will the product linger in the "holes".

    No - I believe it's very thin.

Apply using a foam applicator. Let the product soak into the foam. When you press the foam against surface it will transfer out of foam and onto leather THINLY.

I've got a leather dash on my car as well, want to find something easy to find up here that isn't shiny at all...

    Re: Leather Dash

I use a M37 leather/vinyl coating a few times a year, and inbetween I use BF Interior Detail which specifically seems to be made to benefit leather. And it spreads much easier than leather conditioners, which I save only for seats.

    I’m happy with the combo.
