So a bit out of the box here. But after a bad weekend of diving, I started think (this can be bad), that maybe there's something else to try besides the typical "Spit" anti-fog sprays, and drops.
Little background, freshwater lake/quarry dives, vis is about 15 feet on a good day, temps between 78 and down to 62 at the bottom thermocline (45 feet). Anyways, I kept having fog problems all weekend, tried three different kinds of anti-fog on my mask, to no avail. I even went as far as to scrub it again with toothpaste like it was a new mask (about 4 years old and 35 dives on it now). Silicone Dive Mask | Impression - Aqua Lung
Anyways, do you think that maybe on coatings on the market might make a difference? After flooding my mask for the 3rd time to be able to see at depth I got sick of it and called the dive. A quick search showed that many on here are at least familiar with the gear.
Thanks
