    Training your stalker.

Mike I'm sure you have trained dozens upon dozens, I've only trained a handful in the hopes that we can make money together

i pay them pretty fair i think average 300 to 500 a car for exterior only,

the last guy I trained worked for a month he learned how to do a one step paint correction and apply a 3 step ceramic coating he made about 1200 a week and then just disappeared one day,

one of my customers that had 4 cars he helped me on one customer disappeared too i find out months later he went to my customer with pics of him working on the customers car and said he does all the work and I'm the middle man and to cut me out

i charged 2200.00 for each car he told the customer (not knowing my prices.) He would do the remaining cars for 3k

then he changed his business name to resemble mine fast forward a year

i moved to a shop triple the size he found out and moved into my old shopwithin days he went and told everyone I still own it but I left town

then went to my supplier and weasel his way in hes now chasing my customers and charging less then half of what I charge

i normally do full paint correction yet he does only swirl removal (we didn't teach him the rest)

its gotten to a point of him trying to dress like me and telling everyone we are related, he copies my pictures off face book and uses them saying he did the work and videos etc,

have you ever experienced this type of dedicated person,i dont even know what to do here he's driving me crazy.

    Thanks Mike, you're the best.

I've been with ceramic pro almost 2 years now had to pay like $2k to get in have a shop show pics and all kinds of stuff

this guy got some shop from another state copied there name and said he is part of them and ceramic pro sent him product he bypassed everything and never paid a penny to them

yet keeps calling them telling them god knows what so they keep him on, they tell me he's black listed but he isn't.

really is a crazy deal I've seen single white female ,it did not turn out well..

Somebody else has to have these kinds of admirers.. smh he's copying every single thing I do,I've heard mirror your competition but this extreme..

When I get to work, (I'm just leaving for work), I'll re-read what you wrote and if I have any insight I'll add it.

Until then, I wrote this brand new article this last Monday morning. I wrote it after a guy sent me an e-mail that was just one HUGE BLOCK OF TEXT.

This happens on this forum all the time too and here's the deal, people won't read huge blocks of text. It's too hard for the human eyeballs to track from the end of one sentence to the beginning of the next sentence after about 3-4 sentences.

For this reason, most people won't read huge blocks of text.

Me? I have Admin ability I will usually EDIT posts like the above and hit the [ENTER] key here and there to break up the huge block of text just so I can read it.

    Here's the article,

How to type in a way that other people will read what you write

And because I never type for the present, always the future, if you're reading this and you type in HUGE BLOCKS of text - stop it. Don't do it on ANY social media platform.

Your defeating the purpose of typing if you make it hard for people to read what you write..

    Make sense?

    Re: Training your stalker.

Maybe this person is amazed that you have grown your business so incredibly. Based on your posts, in Nov of 2018 you were barely able to get 300-350 for full size SUVs. If you can grow a business that quickly in less than 2 years it's impressive.

What isn't clear is where your shop is located. Maybe this would help folks understand this growth and the personality of the stalker.

    That sounds good.

    Wow!

The only advice I have is to seek the advice of lawyer. Maybe someone with law experience here can chime in?

I've never had an experience like this but I have heard of this same type of thing happening. I "think" that some detailers create a non-compete agreement for their employees that outlines a certain distance in miles, for example, you cannot detail cars within 200 miles of my location, something like that.

This person certainly has no honor.

If worse comes to worse - you might have to call him out publicly in some fashion. Yelp?

Let's see what others have to say...

One thing for sure, everyone reading this into the future will or should learn from this experience you've shared. For this I thank you.

    Re: Training your stalker.

    Disclaimer:
The following is just my layman’s
    point-of-view.

    ************************************

Sounds like you may have a legit case of
“infringement”; and, as such: this other
    businessman’s actions are harming your
    Business in some manner.

    •First
-I’ll suggest that you get all of your Business’
    documentation together ASAP. Examples:
Things like your trademark papers; your business
license registration; any other paperwork that shows
when you established your business; and, any
documentation that shows the harm your Business
is now suffering as a result of the other party’s actions.

    •Next:
(Even if your Business isn’t “trademarked”)...
-Contact an attorney that specializes in Trademark
Law immediately. They’ll know exactly how to deal
with such folks. Perhaps a “cease and desist” letter,
on their official letterhead stationary, will be more
than enough to show this person the path to:
‘truth, justice, and the American Way’
[~Adventures of Superman (radio series); ca. 1942]

    Good Luck.

    **Hypothetically**................

People who do that here in New York are sometimes found behind a dumpster with various broken bones in the leg/hand area.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
