Makita PO5000CX2 5" Dual Action Random Orbit Polisher

I was reading and watching some videos of this tool today. It looks pretty amazing. What are your thoughts?

Help me with new polisher Makita PO5000 or Flex3401

Never used it but didn’t seem to be very popular by members

    It's better in every way

Corrects faster due to more RPM
    Way smoother operation wise
    Balanced better in general
Walks less die to smaller throw
Doesn't get hot anywhere your hands need to be
Can be turned into a 3in if need be
    More ergonomic
    Cost less to buy

I'd choose either over Rupes Mille though due to them both being built like tanks

    What are your thoughts?

    I've used both 5mm gear-driven and 8mm gear-driven and I prefer 8mm gear-driven.

I find it faster and more powerful for doing major paint correction. If I found 5mm to be faster and more powerful I would use them. I have all 3 in the garage.
