(Ha Ha) Pretty close; but I had its Cousin:

    Re: What is the car?

My family owned a light green F85, I drove in High School, 1968, 1969.
    It had a 215 hp aluminum V8.
    Fond memories!

Thanks Bob - I figured someone here would recognize the year, make and model.

    Yep.... same car....

Now can we get someone to polish out the shoe and dirt scratches out of the hood?

Mike that's all that was on my mind the whole time and forgot all about the general question. That's an automatic ground for divorce What is the car? What is the car? What is the car? What is the car? . Lol

The shoe and dirt scratches would be the least of my worries. The paint damage inflicted is minor relative to the potential sheet metal damage.

I cringe when someone leans against a nice car... I can't understand for the life of me that anyone thinks it's ok to stand on one.

My guess is the "creative" person in marketing for the drug company?

Maybe the producer or director for the commercial.

From my exposure in the TV world, the majority of the people I've worked with in front of the camera and behind the camera don't know the difference between a squirrel or a swirl.

    RE: Marketing/Agencies for Allegra’s
    ‘Say Yes’ TV Commercial

    1.) Digital Agency:
    Saatchi & Saatchi;

“We’re a crowd of curious thinkers, leaders
and doers. We’re dog lovers, beach walkers,
    deep-fried devotees and boundary-pushers.

We firmly believe that with a childish sense
of wonder, the most cutting-edge technology
and an openness to embrace the new, we can
imagine the impossible and prove it is totally
    within our reach.”

    ************************************

    2.) Media Agency:
    Karlen Williams Graybill Advertising;

    “We believe:
-Every client dollar should be spent as
    if it were our own.
-It’s better to be true than to be trendy.
    -Effectiveness trumps all.
    -Independence makes us better partners.
    -Partnerships Matter.”

    ***************************************

On the surface, it looks like:

•That neither agency is representative of
having been influenced very much, if any,
    by the “car-culture”, IMO.

1962 Buick Skylark with the 3.5 Litre Aluminum V-8 is my guess!

    Please consider the following:

From what I can tell, by closely watching
the very beginning of this advertisement,
the car in this Allegra advertisement does
not have, as a styling cue, the iconic Buick
    “Cruiser-Line Ventiports”.

    •Therefore, IMO, it’s probably not a 1962 Buick.

•On the other hand this probably is a 1962 Buick:
