    wool pads

I was reading through your boat class thread and found something that was of interest to me...wool pads.
I finally found a supply guy to get pads from,,,the last few months I have been using Rupes foamed wool pads on my DA and P5000 ....love em.

I don't do a lot of boats but I still use my rotary to cut extremely screwed up cars and then follow up with my DA's,,I prefer 7 to 9 inch pads for this and have access to Rupes or Buff n Shine,,between those two which would you recommend?

I agree. I have several rupes new wool pads. The blue and white with the new rupes heavy cut compound cuts like crazy, finishes out fairly nice.

They are released. I ordered 20 of them in 5" and 6.5" for my boat class.

The new RUPES Wool Cutting Pads - Nice pads!

    BEFORE

    AFTER

Here’s just one aspect of clean-up

Washing the gel-coat out 20 RUPES Wool Cutting Pads.

I then blew them off using the Tornador Air Blowout Gon and laid them out to air dry.

Back to cleaning up the Training Academy.

I'll post pictures of these pads in ACTION to this thread on Monday

The small 5" pads are great for anyone NEW to using rotary buffers and super easy to use when learning to buff out a boat.

    Before and After

The above boat doesn't even look like the same boat it changed so dramatically.

Thanks Mike. I was looking for the new ones with a foam backing plate Jadon talked to you about at SEMA.

    Re: wool pads

Not those either. In the short 25 minute video of you 2 talking at SEMA, they are new and specific to the rotary, as an answer to detailers using the blue coarse wool pads designed for a DA on the rotary
