    Xpel film care

Hey Mike. Many years ago I took one of your detailing classes and learned a lot about car care. I'm still a fanatic!

I just purchased a mint condition 2016 BMW that is entirely covered by 3M's film coating. Do you have any advice on the care and maintenance of the film? I'm going to miss buffing and polishing. Thanks.

    IMO:
XPel’s PPF care products (which provide for
such excellent results on their very own
namesake-PPFs) will also provide the same
excellent results for the 3M PPF that’s on
    your BMW.

    Hi Russ,

Sorry I missed this, always too busy to stay caught up.

I've had great luck machine polishing the 3M PPF using a soft foam polishing or foam finishing pad with the BLACKFIRE One Step.

Then I think GYEON has a new ceramic coating for PPF, actually they have an entire new line of products for PPF including a fine cut polish. I don't think we carry it yet?

    Coating name is

    GYEON Q˛ PPF

    GYEON makes good stuff.

Thoughts about Car Pro “Skin”? Does anybody have any experience with this?

    This?

CarPro Cquartz Skin 50 ml. Kit

I have not used it but CarPro is an established manufacture of quality products. You can trust the name CarPro.
