Second, so happy to hear this update.

The 2 most common questions I've been asked for the last month are,

How much for the FLEX PXE 80?

When with the SUPA BEAST get here?

Here's link to pre-order the PiXiE aka the FLEX PXE 80. The PiXiE is $399.00 and worth every penny. In my opinion, one of 2 of the coolest things introduced at SEMA - the other being the G8

Here's the link to get the new SUPA BEAST aka the FLEX XCE 10-8 125 Corded Polisher - (no one on Planet Earth is going to call the SUPA BEAST the FLEX XCE 10-8 125 Corded Polisher)

Price: $435.99 and also worth every penny.

Nice, hopefully you'll do a quick write-up so we can see how good this tool is and the improvements over the old Griot's model. I really have enjoyed all the new cordless tools being released. Once I get the CBEAST then I'll have all the cordless stuff from Flex and the Ibrid. I plan to use the CBEAST for just about everything but have set up on my polisher rack the PXE 80 with a 3" pad w/12mm throw and a 1" pad w/3mm throw, my IBrid with 1" rotary attachment, the G8 w/2" pad and my 12V Cordless Milwaukee Polisher with a 3" pad. That should cover all the bases. I also have on order another 1" backing plate for the new PXE 80 that way I can have one backing pad set up with the 3mm throw and another set up for rotary. When I am working I just like to have multiple tools set up and just change tools as necessary rather than change backing plates etc. The PXE 80 is really versatile with the quick change set up this will really help. You just need to have all the backing pads set up ready to go. That is why I ordered the extra 1" backing plate, one will have the 3mm orbital adapter, the other 1" backing plate will be set up for rotary.

So my question on the PXE is the battery. Mine has 12V batteries. This review is for the 10.8 batteries. Some chargers say they charge 10.8 and the 18V batteries. So are the chargers capable of doing 10.8, 12 and 18 volt Flex batteries. It’s one thing that sold me on the PXE was they said you can use same charger as other flex tools. Now I’m not sure.

So I actually read the instructions.... wild thought right????

The charger included with the PXE charges both 12v and 18v.

Now I’m curious if the charger that comes with Flex 18v tools will charge the 12v PXE batteries.

Can anyone tell me the power that's used for the charger? Trying to see how many amps the charger draws
