.
Yes, there are updates. I read your reply a few days ago but I can no longer keep up with all my job duties and that includes replying to questions directed to me on this forum or on any touchpoint.
I updated one of my other write-ups with the current status.

I was told that flex is having trouble manufacturing the item, and therefore the possible ship date it Mid-November as they are not coming in until Mid-October.
I have Chris Metcalf on the phone right now as I type.
Both the FLEX XFE Cordless Finisher and ECE Cordless BEAST use the same backing plate, and there was a delay in production not a problem. The backing plates were upgraded to a superior design and "yes" this did cause a delay, but FLEX is past this aspect of producing the backing plates and the new tools are being manufactured at the FLEX facility in Germany.
The first shipment leaving Germany is next week. Figure 2-3 weeks on the water (on a ship), and then they have to go through Customs. Once through Customers, Autogeek will be the first to get the first shipments.
So I realize everyone is excited to get the new FLEX tools and I also realize that everyone has been patient, but the tools are in production and the first shipment leaves Germany next week.
In fact, Chris told me while he's there next week, he'll take a picture of the tools being packed into the shipping totes and send it to me. (I'm also sending him the link to this thread)

More,
Since making the above post on October 3rd, it is now Tuesday, October 8th, this means Chris Metcalf is now in Germany.
I'll text him and remind him to take and send me the picture he referenced in our conversation.
Stay tuned...

Interesting video on YouTube about the PXE. If I heard the video right this tool will be available soon.
Video shows a new Flex detailing light with tripod and the PXE along with pricing in Euros.
Edit: Fixed the video code - Mike Phillips

Looks like the ibrid will still give the option of getting into smaller places than the pixie. One more tool for the rack for me. Actually more than one, the cordless pe-14 & cbeast have me considering them as well.

Mike the last 3 videos I posted in this thread all mention that this unit will be on sale soon. What are you hearing about this?

While I was teaching the Allentown, Pennsylvania Roadshow Class and letting everyone in the class use my personal PXE, Chris Metcalf texted my a reply to my question.
Me - Everyone wants to know when can they buy the PXE and how much?
Chris - Pricing will come next week. you should have pre-orders next week as well.
So we're now into "next week".
Hang tight....
For what it's worth, everyone in my Allentown class loved it.
