Yeah, good question lane5515.
I cannot remember if it was on Facebook or Instagram where I heard or read something that made me think the same thing. Have yet to find any information to confirm though.

I will say no. From the pics, I didn't see any gear sets. Either on the "spindles" that attach, nor the housing itself

Also....I get the impression this inner bit spins separately from what appears to be the counterweight.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't that clear on my question
.
What Battery sizes come with the machine?

If I remember correctly, Chris Metcalf said there will be 3 different size batteries available for this tool. He left yesterday for corporate meeting but when he gets back I'm hoping he can make it to either my upcoming 3-day class here at Autogeek or my last Roadshow Class for the year in October and I can get ALL the details at that time.
When I wrote this article, (the one your reading), you'll note it's ALL pictures, very little words. The last day before leaving for Ohio I had to pump out 2 new product reviews, which means doing the work, taking the pictures, processing the pictures and then adding the words. That take a lot of time. I'd say from experience, most people have know idea how much time it takes and I actually fast at it. I finished about 5:00pm on Thursday AND THEN started processing the pictures for this thread. I knocked it out in 2 hours and that's pictures only.
Was hoping to have some time with Chris at the Ohio Roadshow Class to get some detailed info about the tool to add to the pictures but seriously, thee's simply no time at any class I teach for "extra" projects.
I know Chris only has a few of these tools that were shipped over to America last week. He received them from customs on FRIDAY, (the day we were setting up for the Ohio Roadshow Class), and then brought me my personal Pixie on Saturday, the first day of the class.
I know Renny's is probably already shipped so he should be getting his this week.
I'm off today, going to relax and recharge my own batteries. Mike Dilger's shop in Ohio is in a great location because it get a LOT of street traffic in an upscale area. While great for exposure, I had to talk over all the noise made by all the cars and Harley Davidsons cruising by and my voice is just now recovering.
So stay tuned, I'm going to do some testing tomorrow night using the three different polishing heads and the different available pads for this tool.

Whoops!
When I moved this thread out of the Rough Draft forum (Threads in the Rough Draft forum group cannot be seen by the public) to the public forum group, Ask Mike Phillips your Detailing questions, I forgot to change the Photo Album from PRIVATE to PUBLIC.
This means the 41 pictures on the first page remained invisible.
Sorry about that. I was in the middle of teaching the Sunday class at the Ohio Roadshow Class when I discovered I cannot access my albums in the Photo Gallery via my cell phone. They simply don't come up?
I flipped the switch last night so now you can see ALL the pictures!
