If left on for a long time they will actually eat your paint right down thru the primer

We’ve had for about two weeks in SE BAMA. Funny to watch the Hummingbirds chasing them away from the feeders.

We’ve got a bunch of them here in S. GA. Not a Florida bunch thank goodness. You need pictures of the lovebugs “lovin’”. Lol.

ugh they look weird, and I know they are a pain to deal with on your car. So Cali might cost an arm and a leg to live, but we don't have to deal with these bugs, snow or road salt. it's uber easy to keep your car looking good out here. I would go absolutely mad if I lived somewhere where I needed special products to deal with bug splatter or worry about keeping rust away.

Re: They’re back! Love Bugs!
I noticed them last Thursday driving in Lake City and one was walking around on my hood in Central Florida. Lovely. Thank goodness my company car will be getting the abuse but the parents call me when their car gets plastered.

But those earthquakes... they don't get your car dirty but could swallow it some day.

Re: They’re back! Love Bugs!
Question for local folks....
Anyone planning on taking a long trip in the next week or so?
I'll send you a free bottle of BLACKFIRE Bug Blocker to test out.
I'm taking a 30 mile trip to the airport at 4:00am in the morning this Friday, not sure if that will be a good time for bugs or a long enough journey to test out the product.
Let me know...

Re: They’re back! Love Bugs!
If the bugs are out, sure that’s enough time to get enough bugs on the car to be a nuisance. It might not be caked with them, but I say any bugs are no good.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.
