Before and After Barn Find using BLACKFIRE One Step - 1940 Buick

Before and After Barn Find using BLACKFIRE One Step - 1940 Buick

This is antique single stage paint on a 1940 Buick Coupe purchased from a collection at an estate sale. The people that attended my Auburn, Indiana Roadshow Class did all the paint correction work and deserve all the credit.

Cleaned, polished and waxed in One Step

Only comes in quarts at this time but you'll love this product so much that you'll also appreciate having 32 freaking ounces of it.

    BLACKFIRE One Step

Use with ANY brand of orbital polisher with any brand of foam pad.

    Pro Tip
You apply AIOs like you would use a compound. That is use 3-4 NICKEL sized drops of product on your pad for each panel.

Do not be stupid and use PEA SIZED DROPS - that's for people that don't know better and listen to the wrong advice.

    Removal Tip
Let the product FULLY DRY. This will make wipe-off a breeze.

Thumbs up Re: Before and After Barn Find using BLACKFIRE One Step - 1940 Buick

    Awesome turn around guys!!

I will second the “let it FULLY dry” method. Makes wipe off soooooo easy. I often work around an entire vehicle THEN wipe off. This also allows the protection to do its thing and fully bond to the paint.

Just shared this with Matt Steel from Truck U

He called and asked for recommendations to clean up his old Chevy truck.

Your Pro Tip gave me a chuckle. hahahaha. No PEA sized drops!

Hmmm. OKAY. You had already sold me on it, and I have 32 freaking ounces of the stuff. I was planning on using another AIO for a car tomorrow, but heck...I'll try this one instead. Well, unless it doesn't play well with the expected heat and humidity in Anaheim, CA.

I'll take pics and do a write-up afterwards
