    Waterless Wash w/o additives

I posted this on Autopia also but here goes.

I have been using Ultima WW for a long time and it works very well, BUT I want to try a WW w/o any waxes, shine enhancers, etc. Any recommendations?

    Waterless Wash w/o additives

Started a thread like this a few weeks ago.

    Shared what I’m currently using.

What do you use for a Detail Prep Wash?

Doesn’t leave anything behind to prevent painters tap from sticking.

Theres also n914 but Mike. How much lubrication can there be in a glass cleaner? Even 914 seems a little "sticky" like a paint prep that evaporates. I know this is fine for a detail prep but what about a maintenance wash?

Unless you happen to have access to
    Meguiar’s D114...my recommendation is:
    McKee’s 37 N-914, @1:128 dilution ratio.

That's it huh that's all there is? Dont get me wrong I love the product and use it all the time but strange there is only one product in a category that a lot of people want.

How much could something like uber really leave behind? Seems quite mild to me. Would it really interfere with a coating that much?

I don’t use these types of products for maintenance.

    Are you sure?
The reason Meguiar’s pulled D114 is
due to the lack of consumer interest.

I’m personally not going to take any chances
of screwing-up all that goes into Coating
    a vehicle.

You can always try it out and
see what kind of results you get.

    Re: Waterless Wash w/o additives

I agree Uber has Gloss enhancers but they seems to be the most mild of any WW I’ve tried (excluding N-914 from this statement because of having no gloss enhancers.

Either way, yes, Uber leaves something behind, it’s clear when you use it that gloss is added, but I’ve never noticed it changing my LSP behaviors, for whatever that’s worth (probably nothing).
