Do i need a paint cleanser before Klasse AIO / KSG

Hello,

I have a 2019 Ford mustang GT, that has nearly perfect paint. I am planning to use Klasse AIO and sealant glaze. Do i need to use a paint cleanser before applying the polish or sealant? I plan to claybar the car.

I am also going to apply these productions to my 2017 GTI. This car needs some mild paint correction so i will be using some meguiars polish on a white pad prior to the Klasse all in one. Would i need to use a paint cleanser here?

Once the sealant cures (2 coats) I plan to apply a layer of caranuba wax.

The Klasse AIO is essentially a paint cleanser with a little bit of protection.

IMO:
•Since Klasse AIO is, in and of itself, a
Cleaner/Sealant...washing/drying the
vehicle should be enough “cleaning of
the paint” prior to its application.
[Unless you also want to chemically
(ie: Iron removal); and/or mechanically
(ie: Clay); decontaminate the paint.]

-No need to introduce any additional
‘designated as a Paint Cleaner’ product,
into the process.


•Same line of thought goes
for the Meguiar’s polish:
-it’ll also act as a “paint cleaner”.
