I just did a white 2019 Acura RDX. The young lady said it looked better than when she bought it. She had told her brother, "it's new...how bad could it be?' - Well, she was amazed by how it turned out.

If you are anything like me, you will not like anyone helping you I am way too focused on how to do things, I would try to micromanage the poor guy to death LOL

Compounding done.

Total of 3 fully charged batteries used till drained.

















By the time I drained this battery down.




The other battery was full charged.




Was able to do the entire car including glass, headlights, taillights and b-pillars with one 8 ounce bottle and there’s still a little left.




Still need to wipe compound off.

Huh?


I used 2 batteries.



As I drained one battery, I placed it on the charger and swapped in the fully charged batter.

Used 3 battery CHARGES total. And there was still power left when I was on my third charge.



My guess is you were looking at the batteries I had in the background, I didn't use them, should have moved them out of the shot. I have about 16 total cordless FLEX tools here in the garage, so I have a lot of batteries.


In the real world, you only need 2 batteries. As you drain one battery down, slap it into the charger and put the charged battery into the tool. If you're a worry-wart, get a third battery and never worry.

Here's a video I just shot after wiping off the polish.


Note the clock says 3:00pm. That's not the "time" it's to show how many hours I'm into this project. I compounded the entire car, headlights, glass, b-pillars and tail lights in less than 3 hours. I teach techniques in my classes that show you how to get the paint correction step done as fast as humanly possible so you can move onto the next step.


Here's the walk-around video. This is JUST polished. So basically naked paint.

Going to wash my hands, put on some gloves and then chemically strip the paint. As I say in the video above, when you're doing this type of work you need LOTS of clean, UN-CONTMINATED microfiber towels.

Those B&S pads look identical to the Lake Country HDO once. They the two companies merge? If they are really different, how would you compare them?
