    My thoughts too.

I've I'm going to do any type of paint correction including,

    1. Wetsanding
    2. Compounding
    3. Polishing
    4. Using an AIO

Then I don't what a product that leaves behind protection. It's a waste of the "protection". Waterless washes and rinseless washes that LEAVE BEHIND some form of protection or shine and gloss ingredients are for AFTER the car is properly detailed, not BEFORE buffing it out.

Basically what is needed is a product that simply cleans and that's all.

I've used BLACKFIRE Paint Prep as a waterless wash but I don't experience it cleaning well like a glass cleaner.

Most glass cleaners have water, (duh) and water dissolves dirt or dust. Most glass cleaners also use some form of alcohol to dissolve oily smokers film and vinyl fog, this aspect is good for removing road film. Most glass cleaners also JUST clean, they don't leave anything behind. There are some glass cleaners that DO leave something behind to seal the glass and I like these but not for prepping paint by using them as a waterless wash.

For those reading this that might not know what road film is, check out my article.

Agree with Bob. I have been using Megs glass cleaner for years! I even use it as a panel wipe for my test spots!

Do you use FBOMB in the foam cannon or bucket? What dilution?
