One more step ??
Hello, been a while but I finally got the job done ( had some more important things to do prior ) BUT it came out better than all my wildest expectations. I buffed swirles out of my black '19 GS ('Vette) . I used my Griots random w/ the 5" backing plate and the G 21 along with blackfire one step and finished off with blackfire paint sealant.
Now, can I wait a few days ( without driving it ) and top it off with Collinite 845 wax ? Will this be overkill or worthwhile ?
Thank you all again for your help ( would have been better if you were in my garage helping out though,
Thanks again,
Rich

What's up, Rich!
Glad to hear the 'Vette came out good.
Personally? I would let the BF twins do their thing and see how you like it.
Overkill is not a bad thing, but if I were you, I would want to judge how the BF products perform without another product.
See what I mean?
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I would top it with BF Midnight Sun for that Carnauba glow.

I know it's hard to not touch it, especially when touching it has made it look so nice. Will you have to wash it again before waxing it?

Re: One more step ??
Thanks again for the replies. I actually did my wife's '15 CRV first. I did the BF one step followed by the 845 and it came out great, that gave me the confidence to do the 'Vette. In the lag time I bought the BF sealant for the 'Vette
Oh, thanks to my Wife and Mike for making this work, my wife for her patience and to Mike for having these great products and information available to us.

No liquid form... but the paste Midnight Sun is extremely easy to use.
Not at all like 845 where you might want to use a polisher to apply as thin as possible. You can easily do Midnight Sun by hand and removal is a piece of cake !

O.K I did the 3rd step ( collinite 845 ) on the Vette and it brought the Black Mirror shine up around another 1000 watts. REALLY happy the way it turned out.
BTW, My very first car was a black 9 year old 1955 (I started driving in 1964 ) Chevy 2 dr. hard top Belair My last car is the '19 black Vette

Use a putty knife, butter spreader etc and butter the pad, very lightly, a little goes a long way.
