Re: Remove deep wetsand marks with DA on hard paint
Update: I called my insurance and they met up with me at a body shop. We inspected the paint together and noticed in addition to the defects there was flaking clear coat. All of this was grounds for a free repaint at a new, more reputable shop. The car is set for a repaint Monday and I hope that's the end of it. At least I know I'm not crazy haha.

Awesome to hear that you get it sorted out! That's goes with what we discussed before. And think that the bodyshop took a short cut and sanded and clearcoated new layers only. And since the flakeing it's was not good work on that either LOL. Nah something was wrong with your experience when polishing it. So no you have not been crazy. Hope the new bodyshop does a great job to get it awesome looking again!
