How to detail vinyl wrapped vans at Vegas Casinos?

How to detail vinyl wrapped vans at Vegas Casinos?

Anytime I get questions via e-mail, a PM or a FB message I prefer to invest my typing time where

A: It's easier for me to share links, pictures and videos.

B: More people can read and thus benefit from the information. (no just one set of eyeballs)

The reality is, most people that contact me found me via an article I've written or a reply I've written on this forum. The thing is, instead of figuring out that the whole reason they are contacting me is because they found me via an article or answer I wrote on the forum that they to should bring their question to the forum because not only will that help them.... but it will help a future "them". If I answer everything in a private e-mail or other touch point, no one would find and contact me. It's a cycle or pattern that repeats as long as everything is shared in the public domain.

The above is kind of wordy but re-read it slowly and it will make sense.

So I get an e-mail asking,

I have been offered a HUGE job detailing casino valet Van's I've sent you numerous emails I know your busy if you can give me some correct info on how to correctly detail these newly wrapped in vynal Van's please elaborate..

    THANK YOU .

    Jered

    Great questions Jered,

First - I looked through my inbox and according to my inbox the above is the FIRST e-mail you have sent me. Maybe you Facebook Messaged me? I don't know but this is the first E-MAIL.

Second - Detailing a vinyl wrapped van is a HUGE job and by the word HUGE I mean lots of hard work. Mostly you're going to be washing the vans and cleaning the wheels and tires. My guess is they also want the interiors cleaned but you didn't mention that?

After washing a vinyl wrapped van, the next then you can do is apply something that is SAFE for vinyl wrapping and there's a bunch of good brands for this on the market. You could also keep it real simply and wipe the vinyl wrap down with SONAX Brilliant Shine spray detailer. It will make the vinyl wrap clear and glossy while making water bead-up, which seems like what everyone in the Facebook detailing world counts as important.

If you really want to lay down some protection then apply SONAX Polymer Net Shield - although this is not a FAST process. You are just wiping it on and then off but it is a tick sticky to wipe off until you get your skill and technique dialed in. It will last up to 6 months and REALLY make the water bead-up will also protecting the vinyl wrap and making it shiny.

Another option that would be fast and easy and provide great UV protection would be to wash the vans and then as you dry them off, use Optimum Polymer Technologies Car Wax as a drying aid. Optimum Car Wax is the only product I know of with PATENTED UV PROTECTION.

Hope the above helps.... my guess is all the people they've hired to do this in the past have quit due to the high expectations of the owners or managers of the vans and the low pay for so much time and hard work. Just a guess.

Hope that helps and feel encouraged to join our forum, this is where I answer questions. Email is okay, but the forum is powerful.

(the above is just a template that is now a sticky so each time someone sends me an e-mail or FB message I don't have to search for an older reply I wrote to get the formatted text above, I have it here in this sticky.

As I say... I always type for the future.... never just the present...

Before I can personally offer any product
suggestions, I need to know what “type”
    of finishes the vinyl wraps have—i.e.: Gloss;
    Satin; Matte; Frozen; Brushed; etc.

    TIA.
