Help mike or anyone with polishing experience

I have these marks that are from 3rd try on test spot. I went from essence to Adams correcting polish to CP clear cut to remove scratches and swirls. Now I have this haze. I am using the gg15 with LC orange pads.

    After pass with correcting cream

    After clear cut.

That's DA haze. Need to follow up with a finishing polish.

I typically use a yellow rupes or yellow buff and shine pad with hyper polish.

Or a black foam finishing pad and Mckees fast polish.

    Which LC pad?

Little details like this are important.

Some “orange” pads are cutting pads and some are polishing pads.

Could be pad haze. Pad Haze means micro-marring

If it’s not pad related then it’s product related. And could be both.

Just to note - pad haze is just one of HUNDREDS of topics I cover/teach in all my classes. Even my boat classes.

The simple fix is get rid of that light

    :laughing;

I’m using lake country ccs orange pads. I have essence, everything else is heavier. I have white and green ccs pads and griots yellow perfecting and B&S microfiber finishing pads

    See above post

If essence not good enough I can run to Griots in morning to get what’s needed

I think it’s those pads... They’re probably running too hot, preventing you from being able to both cut and finish out properly on your long throw polisher.

What lsp was on the paint prior to yesterday? Did you attempt to strip it off before polishing? I know you did iron decon.. Did you clay?

Some of my favorite cutting pads with that polisher:

Lake Country Microfiber Pads [the ones with holes in the middle]

Lake Country HDO Orange Foam Pads [they’re actually polishing pads but they’re very versatile and very capable of removing moderate defects on factory paint when paired with the proper polish/compound]

Meguiars Thin Foam Burgundy Cutting Pads

Griots Boss Orange light cutting foam pads. [these pads can handle light swirls and finish out great in most cases]

Even the Lake Country Orange Flat Foam Pads work great in pinch. [when I’m running out of fresh cutting pads I can still count on them to be solid on a long throw]

And of course, Megs Microfiber Pads. But the new Lake Country’s are better...

I used Griots synthetic clay. I used speed shine as lube and wiped off.
