what would you do if you were me ? (coating and rust repair)

I have a 2008 black honda civic which I am polishing before winter gets here, the whole driver side is done I am now going to do the passenger side.

My question is this one, the passenger side rear wheel arch need's a rust repair job (which i will do in the following 10 days)

I am ceramic coating the car as well

should i just skip the quarter panel totally and do my rust repair first or do everything as normal and hope for the best when fixing the rust ?

also can a coating be applied to a windshield as my flyby30 never made it past the american borders ? I have a local company coating which looks to be pretty similar to optimum and cquart (it was their starting point)

    Hi sunstealth,

Sorry for the late reply, busy with all kinds of offline projects.

I would go ahead and coat the entire quarter panel and then hope for the best. It won't take much longer or use much more product and then the paint is all protected. If you have to, you can always do a re-coat to the affected area.

Yes. Pick a reputable brand and before applying any glass coating, I'd recommend washing the windshield and the machine polishing to remove any road film.
