Here's how it looked in the boat yard...

LOOK carefully at this first picture!

Here's how the boat looked when it arrived to Autogeek for our annual boat detailing class.

Then in our class, the students learned how to,

    1. Hand wetsand
    2. Machine wetsand
    3. Use a rotary buffer
    4. Use a gear-drive orbital polisher
    5. Chemically strip the gel-coat
    6. Install a ceramic coating

And here are the after results from the class....

And here is how the boat looks today!

It has been stored in an outside boat yard since February 12th, when I returned the boat to the boat yard. That's 7 months + it has sat outside exposed to both extreme sun and extreme rain here in Stuart, Florida.

Incredible! Normal waxes and sealants would not have held up this well.

I don't know if the boat has been put back in the water at all over the last 7 months as I don't know the owner. Regardless, to take this boat in the condition it was in and fully restore it to it's factory new condition, actually BETTER THAN FACTIORY NEW CONDITION as most boats from the factory have holograms in the gel-coat, well this is really something.

For everyone that will read this into the future...

We only teach our boat detailing class once a year, there's simply not enough demand (yet) for more classes. Our boat detailing classes ALWAYS sell out! So mark the below dates on your calendar, clear your schedule and get signed-up EARLY!

    2019 HANDS-ON Boat Detailing Class - February 9th and 10th

And just like all our boat classes, you don't learn on a boat that's already pretty. No... you learn on the worst condition boats I can find because by learning how to work and restore boats in the worst condition you ALSO learn how to work on boats in any other condition. Thus you are fully up to speed on how to tackle any boat after you take this class.
