    Meguiar's D161 Uses

All of the advertised and recommended uses for D161 seem to be exterior. I was wondering if anyone has used D161 on interior surfaces and interior vinyl? What reasons not to use it on any plastic, vinyl or rubber surface?
    Thanks!
    Tom

I would say that the high gloss would be a reason not to use it on interiors. Meguiars website states that it has an even high-gloss shine. You always want good protection on your interior but usually a matte finish. A high-gloss would yield too much glare off of the dash on a sunny day.

    Hi Tom,

Could be that because Meguiar's makes plenty of other dressings for interiors, they simply don't promote this as an option?

Or could be a chemical reason to not use it on interior surfaces?

To be honest, the best place to get an accurate answer for this question would be to post it to the Meguiar's forum.

    Thanks Mike,
I spoke to the Customer reps at Meguiar's and on two separate calls all that I got was for someone to read the label and MSDS to me. Next time I see Barry at PB Concours I will ask him for a good technical contact at his place.
