    I do in a maintenance situation but not until the sealant has cured.

    Or are you talking about GOING to a detailer?

    Ok I have heard people the next day, after it has cured.
    No wasn't talking about taking to a detailer.

    Ah, then yes, all the time. But definitely after it has cured (whatever time period that specific sealant needs).

    There are lots of different reasons. Removal of smudges or bird droppings are my two biggest reasons. I also use a detail spray after washing to not only make my drying towel slide easier across the paint, but it also helps to eliminate any water spots.

    Exactly. I use a detailer after a wash for a little extra gloss and like @Desertnate said, it helps the towels glide easier as well.
    I keep small bottles of detailer in the center console for bird droppings, etc.

    I always give mine a LIGHT misting with qd after laying down my Wolfgang sealant just to perfect it and get any dust etc off.
