Re: INTERIOR glass polish ...
I use rubbing alcohol or acetone on a paper towel, cleans it right off. Then a quality glass cleaner. Sounds harsh but the deposits on the window are chemical or smoke by products and they are easily cleaned with these products

Re: INTERIOR glass polish ... SUCCESS!!!
Using the tips I received in this thread, this morning (It's warmer than yesterday & better light), I used a Magic Eraser (since the wife had one on hand), Invisible Glass and a 3-towel process I cleaned the glass in my car within an inch of its life.
I did all the windows, even the ones I'd already cleaned, by doing the following:
Spray the Magic Eraser with lots of IG, and used it liberally on the glass.
1) Scrub the glass with the eraser - at first I got a lot of suds - it was a used one and I don't know if it was the soap that is already in the eraser or if my wife had added something.
2) Wipe down the wet (dripping) glass with a clean microfiber (long nap side out) and absorb most of the liquid.
3) Take a clean terry towel and wipe off the damp soap film from the glass,
4) Buff the glass with a 2nd microfiber cloth (short nap side out) until it was completely streak-free.
I tried to take a 50/50 picture, but the camera in my phone and the sunlight weren't cooperating. All I can say is when I look out the living room window at my car, it looks like the door windows are rolled down, everything came out awesome.
Thanks to all who offered advice and suggestions.

I tried it on a small area and it was ok but that was just to test it out. I am like you and just use glass cleaner on tinted glass.

Re: INTERIOR glass polish ...
I've posted this before but always try to add when this topic comes up.
- glass cleaner of choice (knock down the big stuff)
- magic eraser and a bowl of warm water (two go arounds)
- microfiber to "polish"
- done
Also like to recommend that you sit backwards in the front seat when cleaning the harder to reach spots as it affords better reach.

Re: INTERIOR glass polish ...
Definitely dont vape in your car....It smells a lot better but the film it leaves is worse.....If you do....use water , vinegar (15-20 / 1 in spray bottle) a couple drops of dawn.....I only smoke with the windows down...but that creates flicks of ash.....No real big WIN situation.....I guess I'll have to spend big bucks that clean interior car windows for a living.....a young contortionist !
