Another day another what do I need to buy question
The rides:
2005 Silver Honda CRV that has gone through more drive through car washes than I can count along with about 20 door dings down both sides of my car from my wife opening doors in the AM. I will get pics tomorrow as it is comical. When I had my last Jeep with rock rails that never happened. A few rock chips that I need to fill / wet sand / polish
2016 Gray Honda Pilot Touring that has only been hand washed so far. Purchased in Oct and need to do a good initial detailing. Was the victim of parking under a pine tree a few weeks ago.
Current Arsenal:
Porter Cable DA
Chemical guys Citrus Wash
An old clay bar that's ready to be tossed probably
Sheepskin mitt
Bucket w/ grit guard
Misc almost empty bottles of stuff
Misc microfiber towels
Big ole shop vac
Compressor or Blower
So what I am trying to accomplish:
2005 CRV paint correction
2016 Detail and protect
As of right now I am looking to bulk up my arsenal of products for the above two issues. So far here is what I know I am getting and where I need help.
Iron x or equivalent - Check
Clay or clay mitt - help
Compound for CRV - Help
Sap remover for Pilot - Help
Pre cleanser - Same for both? Help
Protection - Wax, etc, help
Pads - Help
Compounding?
Cleansing?
Protection?

I have always clayed but am intrigued by the mitt.
For a sap remover I am looking at Stoner.
Where I really need the help is on the pads. I have only had compounded / waxed in the past.

What are you using for a polisher?
Stoner Tarminator is a must have! As far as pads and polishes, get yourself a bottle of Griots fast correction cream, a bottle of Griots perfecting cream, 4-6 orange LC force pads, and 4-6 LC force white pads. You should be able to tackle all of your needs with this combo. Maybe grab 2-4 LC purple wool pads just to have on hand in case you really need a bit more cut. I can't seem to find the LC Force pads on AG's site but they do exist! Lol

He's using a PC. [I was thinking about whether those LC Force Pads are a good idea or not with his PC...

With a PC I would use either the LC or B&S thin pads.

I think a PC would have a bit of a hard time spinning Force Hybrid pads efficiently, they're kinda chunky (thick).
