Proper care of decontaminate mitt
How do you guys store your decontamination mitts between uses. I know this seems like a silly question but every time I go to use it, it's stuck to something in the bucket I store my wash items in. It's from Griot, AG was out of Nanoskin when I placed the order. Went to use it yesterday and it was face down on some rubber gloves I use for cold weather washing and had completely melted against the gloves. I keep most my stuff in the garage; I guess the summer heat was the culprit.
$50 down the drain. Would there be any difference between Griots or Nanoskin. I figure they're made in same factory.
Anyway, I need to be smarter next time.

I prefer clay over the mitt any day.

Lube has moisture so wouldn't it mold in a closed container after some time? Had this happen with some clay moisten with clay lube stored in a zip lock bag for a few months.

I store my clay towel in a ziplock. I spray it with lube to prevent it from sticking.

Zip lock bag and then in one of the plastic drawers of a container in my cabinet.

Re: Proper care of decontaminate mitt
My towel and a mitt came in plastic flip top packages. I reuse those to store them. Dry no spray.

Try sticking in the frig for an hour or so and see if what is stuck to it will come free. You could always try the freezer too.

Thanks guys. I thought about the plastic bag/Tupperware idea when I first used it. It just didn't stick to the rubber glove, it melted the entire surface of the glove.
