Removing chalky oxidation on an aluminum engine

Hi mike,
new to the forum and I am searching for some tips and tricks to removing the chalky oxidation on engine parts? I just recently bought a 2011 GT500 and it was a northern car so it has seen a few winters and the salt has left that chalky residue on the engine along with some light Rust on some of the hose clamps and bolts throughout. So my question is what can I use to help with removing that and bringing back the bright smooth finish to the engine.

Can't really advise on what to use.Its more of a trial and error when it comes to that material.I would start with a least agressive polish for that material need pics.
