Lightning
I have a 99 Lightning with 90K miles on it. All stock. It spends most of its life in a garage but the egg crate grill has become a light grey. I recently purchased some Wolfgang exterior trim sealant to help get some color back in the grill. I use their wonderful product on the paint and it is easy to apply and remove even in the humid SC summers. I cleaned the grill with soap and warm water and let it sit for a few hours and them applied the trim sealant. Nothing. I cannot tell I even applied it. The stuff worked wonders on all the other black surfaces but ZERO on the grill!! Any thoughts or ideas on anything else that might help. I tried Mothers black to Black a few months ago, also nothing.
Thanks,

Re: Lightning
Have it painted, I do several of them and they all look like that.

I've had great luck with solution finish on super faded black trim. You could give it a try. If that doesn't work nothing probably will. I'm not familiar with what type of plastic it is on that grill though.
